how do you prioritize when everything is urgent

Field support is full of simultaneous urgencies — they want your method, not a hero story. Structure: 1) You CLARIFY the impact of each item (what breaks if this waits — safety, downtime, customer, deadline). 2) You communicate with stakeholders to align on what's truly top priority. 3) You do the highest-impact/first-blocking item, and communicate clearly about what's being deferred so no one is surprised. 4) You don't silently drop things — you surface trade-offs. Give a real example where you juggled multiple demands. The key line: 'I don't just work faster — I make the trade-offs visible and agree on them.' That's the judgment GPS requires.
