STAR with a NUMBER — panels love quantifiable improvement. S/T: a process that was slow/error-prone/costly. A: what you changed (your initiative + the specific fix). R: the measured result — time saved, error rate dropped, accuracy improved, rework reduced. For you: the reference-standard calibration that improved GCMS cleanliness test accuracy and repeatability — if you can quantify (e.g., 'repeatability improved X%', 'reduced re-runs by N'), use it. Or a documentation change that cut time-to-answer. The pattern they want: you SEE waste/risk, you FIX it, you can PROVE the improvement. That's a GPS engineer's daily value-add. Never give a result without a number.
